Six-Nations Footprint

Six-Nations Inc is a Native American Owned Small Business Enterprise. Its President, Linda McMahan, is a Native American descendant of the Mohawk Tribe from the Six Nation Reservation, Bay of Quinte Tribe.

Six Nations, Inc. began its operation in 2005, focusing on servicing the automotive industry via providing finished vehicle transportation from distribution centers of the Automotive Industry to their various dealerships.  Linda McMahan has a belief in the importance of exceeding expectations and has created a culture at Six Nations that focuses on customer service. That core value has become the standard by which Six-Nations operates.

Linda began her working career in 1984, working with an entrepreneur who founded Tiara Motor Coach. This experience proved invaluable as she rose through the ranks of the organization, she was asked to trouble shoot quality concerns with the customers. She developed a keen sense of manufacturing, quality control and “root cause” analysis.  In 1995, Linda was asked to join one of the largest minority companies on the Executive team as its Quality Manager.  She was instrumental in helping establish policies, procedures, and compliance that resulted in the company’s success as an ISO Certified Corporation.  Currently, it ranks among the top 50 largest minority transportation companies in America. In 2002, Ms. McMahan was asked to lead the corporation as Vice President of Operations, where she established several quality service awards and assisted in navigating through the many changes the Auto Industry experienced due to the impact of 9/11.

Linda recognized that a need existed for finished vehicle transportation. This was an industry that with her leadership and touch she could make an impact, leave her footprint of exceptional customer service.  Borrowing on her heritage… Six Nations Inc. was born.

Our extensive experience and flawless reputation in the trucking industry has prompted our foray into servicing Government Contracts, in particular Department of Defense Facilities. We understand the needs of the Contracting Officer in that they require all services to be performed as required in the PWS and at the same time they are accountable on how the budgeted funds are spent.

Linda McMahan is active in the community, serving as a member of the Native American Business Alliance, the Michigan Minority Business Development Council, to name a few.  She serves on the Board of Directors for Dakkota Integrated Systems, which is a major Tier One Supplier in the automotive industry as a manufacturer, assembler and integrator of Automotive Systems for Ford, Toyota, GM and Chrysler.
